Frank has a background in chemical engineering and for many years he was technically and commercially involved in the design and construction of process systems in the national and international oil and gas industry. Based on industry demands he continuously evaluated and developed new creative technologies and implemented them in the conservative oil and gas industry. Based on this experience he was able to find solutions for specific issues and he was able to acquire a distinctive and strong position in niche markets. In 2012 Frank decided to start his own company: ALTA GROUP.

Inspired by the current climate issues, ALTA GROUP fully endorses that the carbon footprint of all worldwide activities has to be reduced. In order to support this endeavor, ALTA GROUP initially started as a consultancy for sustainable chemical and physical process solutions. In the context of climate action, it transpires that Carbon Capture and Utilisation (CCU) has become a key challenge for the chemical industry. Therefore ALTA GROUP also decided to invest in a novel resource efficient technology to process captured carbon into critical materials for the battery industry.
