Jan van Treek holds a Diploma of Mechanical Engineering from Aachen, RWTH Aachen University, specializing in production technology and manufacturing.
Jan van Treek gained deep insights into battery manufacturing and customer requirements, both for anode as well as cathode materials. Being responsible for tests with battery raw material suppliers, Jan van Treek seriously understood the pressing needs of different producers and how to optimize their production regarding material quality, production/ process costs and upscaling from research projects to actual production size.
Jan van Treek has a proven track record in sales, design and process development of heat treatment systems for the copper and aluminum industry. Based on market demands as well as technical developments, he assessed and advanced new technologies and systems, for both industries mainly focusing on energy efficiency, increased automation, reduction of maintenance needs and costs as well as reduction of OPEX.
