CELY HOSTOS Luz-Deinny

Luz Deinny Cely Hostos has been Performance and Operations Director at Orano Batteries since September 2025. She joined the programme when it was created in 2021.

Luz holds a master’s degree in civil engineering and mining techniques from the Industrial University of Santander (Colombia) and is a mining engineer, having graduated from the École Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Paris in 2007.

After her first job at an international materials company in Colombia, Luz joined the AREVA group in 2008 as an engineer and held various positions within the group’s mining division, first in Arlit, Niger, and Kazakhstan, then at the group’s headquarters in the operational performance department.

In Paris, September 24, 2025, Luz received the prestigious Woman of the Year award at the Women in Industry Awards.
