GIORDANI Vincent
Vincent Giordani is the R&D Director at BASQUEVOLT, an innovative energy storage startup focused on pioneering solid-state battery technology with the ambition of becoming a European leader in the field.
Prior to joining BASQUEVOLT, Vincent built a distinguished career spanning over 15 years in California’s advanced battery industry, contributing to companies such as Enevate, Fisker, and Liox Power. His professional journey is grounded in a strong academic background: he earned his PhD through a joint program between the CNRS in France and the University of St Andrews in Scotland. His doctoral research was conducted at the Laboratoire de Réactivité et Chimie des Solides (LRCS, Amiens) under the mentorship of leading figures in the field, including Professors Jean-Marie Tarascon and Michel Armand, pioneers in lithium-ion and lithium metal battery technologies.
Vincent brings deep expertise in Research and Development (R&D), Chemical Engineering, Polymer Chemistry, and Lithium Battery Technology, with proven success in Electric Vehicle applications, Early-Stage Startups, Program Management, and Product Development.
