BIENSAN Philippe

Philippe holds a PhD in Physical Chemistry and computing science from University of Bordeaux after what he joined Saft in 1991 and worked first as research scientist for rechargeable lithium and Li-ion. Then he moved as Li-ion Research manager from 1996 on Li-ion, managing several National, European and International R&D projects. From 2008, he led the Li-ion Unit for development, industrialization and production of NCA based cells. From 2012 to 2016, he was the Europe Development Manager of cylindrical Li-ion cells for Saft. then has been Deputy Director of the Corporate Incubator until 2018, when he led as Technical Director, focusing on R&D and industrialization of next generation of Lithium-ion and Lithium Solid State batteries. In 2020, he became ACC chief Technical Officer, as the company was created. Since 2024, he is Chief Expertise Officer, creating and animating transversal expertise in ACC.
